Two Shopify brands, two very different starting points, and the exact work that took them from near zero to beating the competitors they were chasing.

## What the work produced
- **$758,772.94** Organic revenue in 7 months
- **~100,000** Organic visits a month, from near zero
- **DR 12 → 41** Authority in 100 days
- **$150,000+** Organic revenue in 4 months

## Same method, different starting points

### A small catalog that won its niche

The [automotive accessories brand](/case-studies/chinese-tech-brand-seo-case-study/) was Amazon-first, had only 30 fairly similar products, started at DR 29 and was already running ads. The goal was to beat the number-one competitor. We built more than 360 pages, most of them collection pages aimed at specific buyers ("X for Motorcycles", "Car Security X", "X for Semi Trucks"), wrote hundreds of thousands of words, added thousands of internal links and fixed international SEO problems such as broken internal links and cannibalization. Traffic went from roughly zero to almost 100,000 visits a month, with a traffic value of more than $54,000 a month. The brand now outranks every competitor for every keyword in its niche.

The lesson: a small catalog does not mean a small keyword universe. See why on our [collection page SEO](/shopify-seo-services/collection-page-seo/) page.

### A weak domain that doubled every month

The [tech brand in an industrial hobbyist niche](/case-studies/chinese-tech-brand-1000-clicks-a-day/) had a relatively new site, a weak link profile and results pages crowded with product packs and video packs. We built hundreds of pages, fixed technical SEO and schema, then added link building. The site doubled every month, went from DR 12 to DR 41 in 100 days, and made more than $150,000 in organic revenue in four months. It now ranks for 21,877 keywords, gets 1,000 clicks a day and is closing on a VC-backed competitor that has been around since 2006.

The lesson: technical fixes and content come first, then links multiply them. Bing is worth tracking too; it drove more than $25,000 of that revenue.

### What both had in common

Both are Chinese brands selling to Western buyers, the market we know best. Read more on [SEO for Chinese brands](/chinese-brands/).
